Who we are

ZunoPlay (“we”, “our”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal information you provide when booking a session with us. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, contact us at bookings@zunoplay.co.uk.

What we collect

When you make a booking on our site we collect:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • The date and session you have booked, along with the number of children and adults in your party
  • A booking reference (BK‑xxxx) we generate to identify your visit
  • Payment confirmation from our payment provider (we do not see or store your card number)
  • Basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, held in our server logs

Why we use it

We use your information to:

  • Take the booking, send your confirmation email, and check you in on the day
  • Contact you if we need to change or cancel your session
  • Keep records for tax and accounting purposes
  • Improve the site and prevent fraud or abuse of the booking system

Our lawful bases for processing are the performance of a contract with you (your booking) and our legitimate interests in running the venue safely and lawfully.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card details are entered on Stripe’s secure page and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe operates as an independent data controller for the card data it processes; their privacy notice is published on stripe.com/gb/privacy.

Who we share it with

We only share your data with the third parties that make the booking system work:

  • Our hosting provider (Vercel), which runs the website and stores the database
  • Our email provider (Resend), which delivers your booking confirmation
  • Stripe, our payment provider

We never sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes (currently six years in the UK). You can ask us to delete your personal details outside of those legally required records at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete your data where we are not required to keep it
  • Object to us using your data, or ask us to restrict how we use it
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we have handled your data unfairly

To exercise any of these rights, email bookings@zunoplay.co.uk.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in to the admin dashboard and to remember your booking as you move through checkout. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects when it was last changed.
